This site is in Lough townland located near Dingle Lighthouse at the mouth of the harbour. There are many names and dates carved on a cliff-face which is marked with a red x on the image.
To the right of the lighthouse, which was built in 1885 at a cost of £589.00, is the entrance to a cave - known as "Nancy Brown's Parlour". It is said that the cave extends back to the old Presbytery in Dingle and it was to be the escape route for Marie Antoinette.
